The most significant step we’ve taken to help reduce spam calls is implementing the FCC’s regulation requirements for “Stir/Shaken.” This regulation requires us to attest to the trustworthiness of our customers’ phone numbers for outbound calls to ensure they always go through. We’re already conforming to these regulations and are authenticating our customers’ phone numbers to ensure they are trusted. It’s also designed to provide us with information regarding what other carriers’ attested’ on their outbound calls, so we know to what degree we should trust an incoming call.
In addition to following stir-shaken regulations, we’re also working on providing additional services to our customers to help reduce spam calls. For example, we’re developing spam blocking to show verified phone calls. Our highly-trained customer support team can also implement auto attendants for our customers as an extra verification step to filter out robocalls and reduce the number of spam calls received.
We understand that spam calls can be a frustrating experience for our customers, and we want to ensure that our service is as effective and efficient as possible. Another initiative we’re working on is developing a proprietary spam call detection and blocking system. This system will use machine learning algorithms to detect and block spam calls before they reach our customers’ phones. This system will be a game-changer for our customers and significantly reduce and completely eliminate any spam calls they receive.
